Inverse Kinematics Parameters
These parameters are used for configuring Inverse Kinematics (IK) in motion platforms.
⚠ Important: Configure your rig using FlyPT Mover to understand how Inverse Kinematics works. The parameter inputs are designed to be directly compatible with Mover and can be used without modification.

Parameter List
Platform Dimensions
Base L3 (Short) – Short side of the lower platform (in mm)
Base L4 (Long) – Long side of the lower platform (in mm)
Rig L1 (Long) – Long side of the upper platform (in mm)
Rig L2 (Short) – Short side of the upper platform (in mm)
Actuator & Rod Lengths
Crank/Range Length
Rotational Platforms: Length of the crank arm.
Linear Actuators: Distance from the actuator's middle position to its mechanical limit (in mm).
Rod/Middle Length
Rotational Platforms: Length of the connecting rod.
Linear Actuators: Length of the actuator at its middle position (in mm).
Rotational Actuator Angles
Middle Angle – Only for rotational actuators.
Defines the crank arm angle when the actuator is in its standby position.
Must be measured manually.
Crank Angle (1-6)
The motor rotation axis angles relative to the base plane.
Measured counterclockwise.
Tip: Best understood by drawing a visual reference.
Reversed (1-6)
Crank Angle + 180° for each respective actuator.
Axis & Rotation AdjustmentsXY Orientation – Allows rotation of the XY plane, given in degrees.
COR X (Sway) – X-axis offset for Center of Rotation calculations (in mm).
COR Y (Surge) – Y-axis offset for Center of Rotation calculations (in mm).
COR Z (Heave) – Z-axis offset for Center of Rotation calculations (in mm).
