Privacy Policy for Motion4Sim Controller and Dashboard Software

Thank you for using Motion4Sim Controller and Dashboard Software. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our software. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that any personal information you provide is handled securely.

Data Collection

Motion4Sim Controller and Dashboard Software do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information for analytics, marketing, or other commercial purposes. However, specific data transmission occurs for authentication and software updates, as detailed below.

Data Transmission

  • Motion4Sim Controller (Pro Boards Only): The controller transmits a unique chip ID to Motion4Sim’s authentication servers to verify its legitimacy. Upon successful authentication, the controller receives authorization to operate. On special request its possible to get a limited fw without any internet access. Contact us for it.

  • Motion4Sim Dashboard: The dashboard software periodically checks GitHub for available updates but does not send any user data to external servers.

All other data processing occurs on your local machine, and no additional information is transmitted to third parties.

Use of Application Data

The software processes motion control data strictly for the purpose of controlling your motion simulator. Any data processed, including motion configurations, settings, and other simulator-related information, remains on your local machine and is not shared with any external entities.

Third-Party Services

Motion4Sim software does not use any third-party services, APIs, or integrations that would require the transmission of your personal data to external servers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the effective date at the top of this policy will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
