Service & Testing Menu

This menu is designed for testing actuators and moving them to specific service positions.

  • Actuators can be moved individually or all at once.

  • After selecting a submenu, turning the encoder left or right increases or decreases the actuator value.

  • The value changes according to the "Multiplier" setting.

  • This menu can be accessed at startup without actuator calibration, which is useful for tasks like lifting a Stewart platform for repairs.

  • When exiting the menu, return to Startmenu is performed.

this options exists:

  • All Actuators

  • Servo 1

  • Servo 2

  • Servo 3

  • Servo 4

  • Servo 5

  • Servo 6

  • Servo 7

  • Sine Loop

  • Multi

  • back

Note you can setup the Steprange for moving the actuators by increasing the Multi Option

the Sine Loop options is only accessible when the rig is homed and in Online State. this function performs a full range sinewave motion off Actuator 1-6 , you can alter the period with the Multi stepsize in ms.

Saving Actuator Offsets

  • This function allows saving offsets for individual or all actuators.

  • To change the offset, set "Yes" using the encoder and confirm with a push.

Repair /Service /Assembling – Moving Without Homing

For rig or actuator maintenance, it may be necessary to move one or all actuators without performing a homing sequence.

How to Move Actuators Without Homing

  1. After starting the controller, select Service Menu Option from Startmenu and confirm with the encoder.

  2. Turn the encoder left or right to select either a single actuator or all actuators for movement.

Emergency Stop & Safety Notes

  • Pressing the emergency stop button will disable/enabled brake servos based on setup configurations.

  • Turning the encoder moves the actuator, adjusting by the exact pulse count set in the "Multi" setting.

  • Change the "Multi" value to adjust the movement speed.

  • if you release the Emergency Stop button in the mode you will be asked for enable the servo again, confirm to continue. this leads back to Service Menu
