Factory Resets

Factory Reset

Occasionally, it may be necessary to restore the controller’s memory to its original factory settings. Follow the steps below to perform a factory reset.

Instructions

  1. Start the Controller Power cycle the controller to initiate a fresh start.

  2. Wait for the Homing Prompt After restarting, wait until the display shows the message: "push encoder for homing…".

  3. Access Additional Menu Options Turn the encoder to the left to reveal further menu entries.

  4. Select Factory Reset

    • Rotate the encoder until "factory reset" appears on the display.

    • Press the encoder to execute the factory reset.

    • Note: two reset options are available:

      • Optimized settings for linear actuators.

      • Optimized settings for rotary actuators.

    • The controller will automatically restart after the reset is complete.

  5. Confirmation The controller’s data has been reset to factory defaults, and it will reboot.

you can also use the options in the Dashboard Setup tab, when Controller is connected in Starmenu.
