The controller's firmware can be operated via an integrated menu system. This section explains the individual menus and their functions.

System Startup and Configuration

During the controller's boot phase, a welcome text is displayed, which takes a few seconds as the system initializes and the configuration is loaded from memory. Then the version of the board will be displayed and confirming that data has been successfully read. Once the LCD displays "push for homing," the device has fully booted and is ready for use. The "Startmenu" is active.

In this menu, there are the following options: Navigate through the menu with the encoder and execute options with a click.

Startmenu

  1. push Encoder for homing

This option initiates the system's automatic homing process. Ensure actuators are configured. Press the encoder for homing. this starts the motion operation

  1. push encoder for service

This menu starts the service menu where you can perform service and maintenance on the actuators without needing to perform a homing operation.

  1. factory reset for rotating act.

This function resets all settings to factory defaults, optimized specifically for rotating actuators.

  1. factory reset for linear act.

This function resets all settings to factory defaults, optimized specifically for linear actuators.

  1. Settings

This menu enables the submenu to edit the system settings.

  1. Restart System

  2. Enter Bootloader

To update the firmware manually, boot the controller into bootloader mode and perform the flash operation. Use this option if the automatic update fails.
